Colorescience Brush-On Shield SPF 50 is a mineral powder sunscreen in a built-in brush that protects the face in one step, alone or over makeup. The brand’s EnviroScreen® technology provides broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection and defends skin against blue light, pollution and infrared. The antioxidant-rich mineral powder contains hyaluronic acid, which helps restore and reinforce skin’s moisture.

The veil is light and sheer, and the shade blends easily into your skin tone. Two passes over the whole face, in small circles, give full SPF 50 coverage.

Water and sweat resistant for 80 minutes, the powder can be reapplied every two hours without disturbing your makeup: the brush slips into your bag. Made with zinc oxide and iron oxides, the formula is designed for all skin, sensitive skin included.

Directions

Directions from Colorescience

First use: remove the cap, pull back the sleeve, remove and discard the rubber band, then put the cap back on.
Activate: with the cap on and facing down, tap the brush 3 to 5 times on a hard surface, firmly. Run a finger through the bristles: a small puff of powder should appear; if not, repeat.
Apply generously in small circular motions to dry bare skin, moisturized skin or over makeup for at least 60 seconds: two passes over the whole face give full coverage. Don’t forget your ears and neck.
Reload the bristles by shaking the brush with the bristles facing down, or tap again. Over moisturizer, primer or liquid foundation, wait until they have fully set.
Reapply at least every two hours.
