Colorescience Brush-On Shield Glow is an SPF 50 mineral powder sunscreen in a take-anywhere brush that protects skin while giving it a subtle glow. The brand’s EnviroScreen® technology provides broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection and defends skin against blue light, pollution and infrared. Its antioxidant-rich mineral powder contains hyaluronic acid, which hydrates for supple skin.
Pearlescent pigments leave a silky finish and a soft champagne light that builds with each pass. Worn alone all over the face, the powder protects and illuminates; dabbed on the high points, it becomes a highlighter over another Total Protection® sunscreen applied everywhere.
On bare skin, over moisturizer or on top of makeup, the brush slips into your bag for touch-ups throughout the day. Water and sweat resistant for 80 minutes, the formula is oil-free, dye-free and vegan.

Directions
Directions from Colorescience
- First use: remove the cap, pull back the sleeve, remove and discard the rubber band, then put the cap back on.
- Activate: with the cap on and facing down, tap the brush 3 to 5 times on a hard surface, firmly. Run a finger through the bristles: a small puff of powder should appear; if not, repeat.
- Before exposure, apply generously in small circular motions to dry bare skin, moisturized skin or over makeup for at least 60 seconds, making several passes; don’t forget your ears and neck.
- For a highlighting effect only, first apply another Total Protection® product all over the face, then Glow on the high points.
- Reload the bristles by shaking the brush with the bristles facing down, or tap again. Over moisturizer, primer or liquid foundation, wait until they have fully set.
- Reapply at least every two hours.
